- Use Ticket Exchange Marketplace. St Andrews TicketX is a peer-to-peer ticket exchange marketplace exclusively for students at the University of St Andrews. The platform allows verified St Andrews students to buy and sell tickets to university events including formal dinners, charity balls, sports events, club nights, and society events. Sellers list tickets with a price, and buyers can purchase them directly through the platform or make offers. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. For digital tickets, the ticket file is delivered automatically to the buyer upon purchase. For physical tickets, the seller and buyer arrange collection directly. The platform holds funds in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of their ticket. A platform fee of 5% plus a payment processing fee is charged to the buyer at checkout. In the event of a dispute, the platform acts as an intermediary between buyer and seller. Access is restricted to holders of a valid @st-andrews.ac.uk email address.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. 10. NOTIFICATION EMAIL
We collect a personal email address (separate from your university email) for the purpose of sending transactional notifications including purchase confirmations, sale notifications, and dispute updates. This email is stored securely and is not used for marketing purposes.
11. ST ANDREWS EMAIL VERIFICATION
Access to St Andrews TicketX is restricted to current students of the University of St Andrews. To verify your eligibility, we collect and store your @st-andrews.ac.uk email address. This is used solely for identity verification and is not shared with third parties.
12. PAYMENT PROCESSING
All payments are processed by Stripe Inc. We do not store or have access to your card details at any point. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data. Funds are held in escrow by the platform until the buyer confirms receipt of their ticket.
13. TICKET FILES
For digital ticket listings, sellers upload ticket files which are stored securely and delivered automatically to buyers upon purchase. These files are accessible only to the relevant buyer and are not shared with any other parties.
